The United States is a country that is still growing, and people need a roof over their heads, so it’s just a matter of time for the housing market to begin stabilizing, which in turn will allow for actual appreciation to occur. Although things look dire, it will happen.
How long until this stabilization will take hold is the big question. What really matters is that the desire to own a home has not swayed and that there hasn’t been a population decrease in the United States. If so, then all signs are pointing to an eventual stabilization.
